The environmental policy is an essential element in Andreas Andresen A/S working day, where our dedicated target is to reduce the use of resources in all processes in the course of transport and logistic.

Therefore we try to reduce the negative environmental impact via:

• Transport planning
  • Reduction of driving in vain through effective technology solutions as regards freight planning, fleet management and operation and maintenance.

  • All our trucks have Euro 4 or 5 emission standards - the average age of the trucks is 1,5 years
    
    
  • Fuel efficient driving - control of diesel oil consumption on trucks and drivers
    
    
  • Fuel control of the reefer machines. The average age of the reefer machines is 2 years.

  • Airbags in the loading gates at our terminal help to reduce the loss of cold.
    
  • The reefer trailers are connected to electricity when parking after having loaded the goods instead of diesel operation.
    
    
  • Motion sensors, automatic dimmer and automatic turn out the light in the buildings
